Educating for Sustainability

2007 Fall AAEE Conference

Educators of all walks are encouraged to attend to gain useful tools for educating students of all levels and types about the importance of Sustainability. Each track offers a unique experience of workshops and fieldtrips for a truly hands-on experience.

  • The conference opens with an address from Dr. Jonathan Overpeck Thursday evening, October 25th.
  • Workshops will begin Friday, October 26th and will be held at the University of Arizona.
  • Friday evening address from Gary Paul Nabhan, Ethnobotanist and Author
  • Guidelines workshop, restoration projects, and fieldtrips will take place on Saturday morning, October 27th followed by a Green Festival Celebration: Livin' la Vida Verde!
