Josh Ruddick teaches Biology and Earth Science at Santa Rita High School in Tucson, AZ. He is also the faculty sponsor for the school's Conservation Club. During his time at Santa Rita, Josh has guided students through building a fully operational aquaponic greenhouse that the students manage in order supply produce for the culinary arts classes.
Josh has numerous volunteer hours as an educator for the Tucson Botanical Gardens and the Arizona Trail Association's Seeds of Stewardship Program. He has been a guest Speaker at the Arizona Center for STEM Teachers and has led tours of the University of Arizona Arboretum. He is a co-founder of the Arizona Master Naturalist Association and has been the primary author of the Cochise County Master Naturalist Ecology materials.
Prior to becoming an educator, Josh spent 15 year in executive management in the health care industry in roles that included operations, customer service, strategic consulting and sales. Josh lives in Tucson with his wife and two children.
