Meghan Dorsett is an Arizona native, born and raised in the diverse environmental beauty of Flagstaff. With a strong passion for environmental education, her first footsteps into becoming an educational leader began at New Canaan Nature Center in Connecticut and the Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary of the Massachusetts Audubon Society. For over ten years, Meghan has worked with pre-K to adult learners in both informal and formal settings in school, district, and community-based roles. Active research and application interests include: environmental and science education; education policy and reform; schooling, teaching and learning innovations; and increasing equity and opportunity. Currently, she serves as Show Low Junior High School's principal, is on the board of the Navapache STEM Connection, and works locally with the White Mountain Nature Center.
